Ubex ICO Review & Analysis
As more of the world moves online, digital advertising has become one of the fastest growing industries in the world. However huge opportunities remain to improve targeting efficiency, as well as the level of transparency and trust in the industry. Ubex introduces a set of neural networks, combined with transparent reputation management, in the hopes of revolutionizing the advertising industry.
What is Ubex?
The name of the game in digital advertising is efficiency. Currently, users are often shown ads either at the wrong time or on the wrong subject. The result for advertisers is low conversion numbers, and too much money paid for too few results.
The solution that the Ubex advertising ecosystem presents is self-learning neural networks. By introducing AI systems to ad campaigns, they bring a new level of economic efficiency to the process. Machine learning systems are able to track performance and learn the best strategies in terms of timing, placement, and ad selection, in a much more cost-effective way than a human.
The other key issue Ubex solves in advertising is trust. Issues persist of click fraud (in pay-per-click models), dishonest reporting, trust in the effectiveness of advertisers/publishers, and delays in payment. Ubex presents a system that is fully transparent. Reputation metrics on both advertisers and publishers give parties an idea of how effective their potential partners are, and the extent of trust their can take into their business. Higher scores allow parties to generate more business, and earn more from their business, whether it’s filling ad slots or getting hired for ad campaigns.
Additionally, smart contract systems implemented for payments allow improved payment methods. Simple payment methods based on clicks alone are no longer the standard, as more in-depth payments related to customers’ targeted actions can be used. Automated payments made available by smart contracts remove the issues of parties failing to make payments in a timely manner.
By presenting a more efficient advertising process, Ubex hopes to make all three involved parties happier – users see ads relevant to their interests, advertisers see more results for their impressions generated, and publishers benefit from the higher confidence from advertisers, finding fewer problems in filling their ad slots.
Tokenized transaction models appear to be the future of digital advertising, and is enabled in this platform by the Ubex token.
Ubex is holding an ICO beginning in May 2018, running through to August, if necessary to reach their goal of 24,000 ETH (approximately $14M US). Total token supply will be 4 billion Ubex, of which 72% is available in the crowdsale, 15% is allocated to the team and advisors (locked for 12 months), and 10% is sent to a reserve, to be used for future development purposes.
The Team & Roadmap
The project is based in Zurich, Switzerland, co-founded by Artem Chestnov and Daniel Biesuz. CEO Chestnov is experienced in marketing and brand management in several European-based companies, including Anheuser-Busch and L’Oreal. Biesuz is the head of legal for Ubex, well versed in legal compliance for fintech and blockchain-related companies.
Development for several features of Ubex’s platform have been ongoing since late 2016/early 2017. As of ICO beginning in May, they have an alpha version of the advertiser platform ready, and hope to have the publisher version released in August.
Tokens will be distributed directly after the close of their ICO, and the hope is that a beta version of the platform will be deployed in January 2019.View ICO Website
